Bravo Apples compared to Louis Vuitton, the premium apple variety born and bred in WA

ABC Landline told the Bravo Story to Australia, for the first time yesterday, viewed on national television.

Many WA Apple personalities are featured, in a balanced view of the Bravo Apple (Soluna International) narrative. Ann Lyster Chair of Fruit West, and Jenny Mercer of WA Farm Direct, both recipients of the 2023 Apple and Pear Australia Limited (APAL) Awards of Excellence announced last Thursday, spoke about the opportunity the WA Bred apple presented to the Australian Apple Industry. Ann was awarded the APAL 2023 Woman in Horticulture and Jenny the APAL 2023 Marketer of the Year.

Pomewest committee member Harvey Giblett and his daughter Nic Giblett from Newton Orchards spoke about the challenges to the apple industry - with higher inputs and production costs. Vic Grozotis was also featured. All growers are hopeful that Bravo can re-launch the Australian Apple Industry on the Global stage, provide good returns to Growers, and invigorate further investment in the WA Apple industry for growth and sustainability.

All in all, an excellent presentation of the WA apple industry, and hope that this will lead more consumers to try the Bravo apple, and ultimately increase demand for all apples in Australia.
