Be biosecurity prepared - Pomewest invites you to attend one of our three face-to-face on-farm WA biosecurity-focused workshops, which will be held in our three major growing regions.
It’s essential to RSVP by 1 August for planning purposes.
The workshops will cover essential updates on the current Bayswater Qfly situation, including how the citrus and table grape industries have worked together to provide cool storage space for the cold treatment of table grapes.
The workshop will also address the national Poly Shot Hole Borer response as an example of a current incursion. Attendees will have the opportunity to take an orchard walk to identify all aspects of the biosecurity plan in place.
The workshop will also guide attendees through the APAL biosecurity risk assessment tool to create their own Biosecurity plan. Be sure to download the DPIRD MyPestGuide reporter on your phone and bring your devices or pen to complete the risk assessment at the workshop.
