Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development researcher John Kammann has worked with ten Bravo growers to assess and refine their fertiliser management.
This has involved taking leaf, soil, and water samples for analysis and John preparing a report for each grower on improving fertiliser practices. As part of this National Landcare Program project, DPIRD will hold a soil and fertiliser course for fruit growers in Manjimup on September 6.
Some of the findings of John’s study will be discussed, as well as a range of other soil and plant nutrition-related topics.
Fruit growers are invited to attend and can register by emailing neil.lantzke@dpird.wa.gov.au
