Join the TREEmendous Biosecurity Blitz 2022 to help protect our trees.

The Biosecurity Blitz runs between 24 September and 24 October, and this year DPIRD has a TREEmendous focus on reporting tree pests and diseases!

Every report DPIRD receives during the Biosecurity Blitz helps protect Western Australia’s trees from increasing exotic threats across our horticultural and forest industries and urban and bushland environments. As a participant, you'll get a response to each pest report you make.

You'll also receive weekly e-newsletters highlighting interesting findings, as well as activities and information on damaging tree pests and diseases, plus invitations to webinars and community workshops.

Getting started

Taking part in the TREEmendous Biosecurity Blitz is as easy as 1-2-3:

1.     Download the MyPestGuide® reporter app.

2.     Check trees in your local area for pests and diseases.

3.     Take photos and report using the app or online.
