2024 Quality Testing has commenced
The 2024 harvest season testing has commenced with Gala apples hitting the Perth markets last week.
Early this year, a few issues with starch levels were seen early on, but now most Gala lines sourced from the Perth Hills are passing our maturity standards, ensuring our consumers eat the best quality fruit WA apple growers can offer from the start of the season.
The Pomewest team will provide updates on tracking all fruit in both wholesale and retail during the season and provide support with maturity testing for all our producers.
