WA apples featured at Mindarie Senior College Health and Wellness Expo

The Pomewest promotions team offered apples to Year 11 and 12 students as healthy snack options at the Annual Mindarie Senior College's Health Expo. The expo aimed to inform students about various well-being resources for optimal health while encouraging them to choose fresh food as snacks. It is important to instill the value of fresh fruit in students as they transition to adulthood, as they are future industry consumers. Nardia discussed the impact of the industry's support for the event with Emily Gorst, the college's Health and Wellbeing Teacher.

"I appreciate Pomewest for taking the time and effort to expose students to healthier food options and for the local WA industry's support in enabling them to make healthier choices now and in the future".

In turn, Pomewest would like to thank Fruit West Cooperative and WA Farm Direct for donating apples for the promotion, which helped to reach and provide resources for many schools to be involved in our School promotion program this year.
