Request for Proposal:

International apples co-promotion FY23 (AP22502) and pears co-promotion FY23 (PA22501)

Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned research and development corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $15.1 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.

Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and capable delivery partner for the project:

International apples co-promotion FY23 (AP22502) and International pears co-promotion FY23 (PA22501)

Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably experienced and qualified service provider for this project. The apple and pear industry’s key objectives in international markets are:

  • Forge strong alliances and build trade relationships by building and protecting relationships through trade and customer support (importers and retailers).

  • Drive seasonal awareness and education through an in-season communications campaign and trade education to drive demand.

  • Build competitive value proposition for Australian apple varieties by building premium value proposition (USP) of Australian apples through product experience, quality, value, and positioning.

Co-promotion activities are marketing programs that are in collaboration with industry stakeholders such as growers and exporters. The activities share a 50 percent share in costs and are designed to be tailored to the brand and service provider’s needs.

Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.

The RFP may be downloaded from www.tenders.net (you will need to be a member of tenders.net to access this information).
