APAL’s technical partner, AgFirst, will join the WAwalk to discuss opportunities to diagnose block performance, identify high and low performers, and devise strategies to improve profitability in your orchard. On the Southern Loop (our loop), Jonathan Brookes from AgFirst will be joined by Brent Reeve, orchard manager from Redland Premium Fruit in Victoria’s Goulburn Valley, who will explain the process they took on establishing their block viability analysis process and decisions regarding block removal and replanting strategies for long-term economic sustainability and gain.
